So close. That’s what Berrien Springs’ Jonathan Spear is thinking after this week’s Chicago Open qualifier at Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club.
Spear, a home-schooled sophomore, carded 77 Monday to finish in a tie for the last qualifying spot with four others.
