Ardis N. Schultz, 101, passed away January 31, 2020

Ardis N. Schultz, 101, formerly of Riverside, passed away, Friday, January 31, 2020 at The Willows in St. Joseph where she resided.



A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 4 at Riverside United Methodist Church, 4401 Fikes Rd., Riverside, with Rev. David Haase officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 until 11:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Church. Ardis was born May 29, 1918 in Grand Junction, MI to John & Lillian (Canniff) Page. On December 5, 1936, she married Hervy R. Schultz. Ardis dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church where she enjoyed cooking and baking for Church events. In her free time, Ardis enjoyed crocheting, baking, tending to her flower & vegetable gardens, and feeding and watching the birds in the yard.



Ardis is survived by two grandchildren-Lorinda (Richard) Freemyer of Benton Harbor, Rick Schultz of Ohio; three great-grandchildren-David Freemyer of Lawrence, MI, Michael (Kristina) Freemyer of Benton Harbor, Travis Schultz of St. Joseph; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers-Jim (Nancy) Page, Larry (Sandra) Page; her sister Madeline Brenner; and numerous nieces & nephews. Ardis was preceded in death by her husband Hervy on December 15, 1981, her daughter Kathleen Ann Scott, her son Hervy “Bud” Schultz, her father & step-mother-John & Ardis Page, her mother & step-father-Lillian & Ralph Pearl, and several brothers & sisters.
