Auditions for "No Body to Murder" by Edith Weiss

The Beckwith Theatre Company will hold auditions for its 2018 Summer Youth Theatre Production, the comedy-mystery No Body to Murder by Edith Weiss, on Wednesday, June 13 & Thursday, June 14 from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Open to all middle to high school aged students, roles are available for up to 20 actors, plus stage management, crew, tech, and other backstage personnel and is FREE to participate. 

Rehearsals will run June 18–27 from 1:00–4:00 p.m. (Wednesday, June 27 includes rehearsal and performance, 1:00–7:00 p.m.) 

Performance dates are June 27 & 28 at 7:00 p.m.

Auditions, rehearsals and performances will take place at the Beckwith Theatre, 100 New York Ave, Dowagiac, MI 49047.

Play synopsis:

Bad news—in the form of severe thunderstorms and an escaped convict—threatens the guests at the Come On Inn of Nova Scotia. By the end of the day, a guest is mysteriously murdered during a power outage. As the winds howl, suspicions rage. Who would have the audacity to commit murder under so many noses? No Body to Murder is full of zany characters, hilarious stage action and a surprise ending.

Roles available for 6M, 12F, plus 2 roles that can be either.
