Bruce Allan “Flip” Flippo, 49, of Jackson, MI, passed away at his home.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at 2 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd. St. Joseph, with Pastor Douglas Cuthbert officiating. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please buy someone special a beer, have a conversation and share a smile or donate to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Bruce was born on March 29, 1968 in St. Joseph, to James “Jim” & Delores “Dee” (Ruff) Flippo. He graduated from Lakeshore Public High School 1986 and continued his education at Lake Michigan College where he earned his Associates Degree. Beginning his senior year in high school, Bruce began his career at Sherwin-Williams in St. Joseph and through the years he worked as manager at numerous locations before retiring from the Jackson location after 30 years of service. Bruce was an avid sports fan and loved his Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, the Chelsea Soccer Team, and of course, the Michigan Wolverines.  In his free time, he liked playing online video games with his friends and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and sharing his passion for sports. Bruce was a wonderful and loving person to everyone that he met.

Bruce is survived by his parents, Jim & Dee; brother, Brad (Mary) Flippo of Red Bank, NJ; nephew, Joseph Flippo; niece, Olivia Flippo; Flippo family dog, Roxy Girl; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
