Bruce Thomas Radde, 65, of Stevensville, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at his residence.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 13, 2018 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, Michigan with Pastor Martin Measel officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday July 12, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Bruce was born June 9, 1953 in South Bend, Indiana to Charles & Maxine (Brunke) Radde. Bruce graduated from Lakeshore High School class of 1971. He met and married the love of his life Barb Moore on April 29, 1978, in Mishawaka, Indiana. Bruce was employed at the Cook Nuclear Plant, for over 30 years retiring in 2008. This gave him the free time to do all the things he enjoyed doing, such as working on his cars and caring for his rose garden-a trait that was passed down to him from his beloved mother. Bruce also enjoyed rebuilding electronics. He and his son Tom built several computers together and they also loved attending the Chicago Auto Show.

Bruce was a member of The Chapel where he was an Awana leader. He also was the Assistant Scout Leader of the Boy Scout Troop #540 Bridgman with whom he went on numerous camping trips that he always looked forward to attending. Bruce cherished the time spent with his family.  His absence will be felt by his family, friends and the many people whose lives he touched.

Bruce is survived by his wife Barb; his son Tom Radde and girlfriend Alex Bennett of Chicago, IL; his daughter Heather (Jesse) Hunnell of Chelsea, MI; his brother Dennis Radde of Stevensville, MI; his sister Shari Radde of Baroda, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister-in-law Monika Radde.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran School.  Those wishing to sign Bruce’s Memory Book online may do so at
