The play is the winner of 5 Tony Awards, 6 Drama Desk Awards, 5 Outer Critics Circle Awards, 7 Laurence Olivier Awards, and a Drama League Award.

Auditions are scheduled for Sunday and Monday, January 13 & 14 at 6:30 pm. The auditions will be held in the Studio at Twin City Players Campus at 600 West Glenlord Road, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085. Paige Smillie directs the production.

From the Director: Please prepare a one-minute monologue that showcases an ability to develop character. Monologues and readings from the script will be performed privately with the directorial and volunteer staff. Character ages range from 15-80 years old, both male and female. Many actors will be cast in multiple roles -- some as many as eight. Please bring a list of any dates/activities that may conflict with a rehearsal schedule between January 15 and March 28. Questions about the script, characters, or audition process are welcome! Please contact the director at for any information.

Based on the bestseller of the same name, “Curious Incident” is about a suburban 15-year-old boy, except Christopher is not your typical teenager. Amateur detective Christopher is under suspicion for the mysterious death of his neighbor’s dog, Wellington. He records each fact in a book he is writing as he attempts to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. He has an extraordinary brain and is exceptional at math, but he is ill equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road; he detests being touched and distrusts strangers. But Christopher's detective work takes him on a frightening adventure that turns his world upside-down.

TCP show dates are March 29 - April 14, 2019. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service Inc.
