Dee Dee (Dalene) Hunt, 57, of Stevensville, passed away, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Spring Run Cemetery in Scottdale, with Rev. David Stout officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph.  Memorials in Dee Dee’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  Those wishing to sign Dee Dee’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.

Dee Dee was born February 17, 1961 in Niles to Dallas & Marilyn (Fitzgerald) Hunt.  She graduated from Niles High School, Class of 1979.  Dee Dee was a card dealer for Four Winds Casino since 2007 when they opened in New Buffalo, most recently working in the Dowagiac location.  She had a very courageous and outgoing personality which helped her be successful working with the public.  Dee Dee enjoyed family time, especially with her grandchildren, dancing, anything sweet, especially chocolate cake, and fixing her hair and makeup just right.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dee Dee is survived by her partner of many years, Walter Ittermann of Stevensville; his daughters-Heidi (Josh) Skalecki of Bridgman, Katie Ittermann of St. Joseph; grandsons-Landon & Griffin Skalecki; siblings-Laura Willard of Edwardsburg, Timothy Hunt of Niles, Bobbi Jo (Richard) Lowe of Cassopolis, Madge Gajewski of Dowagiac, Penny (Michael) Williamson of Elkhart, IN; four nieces & nephews-Carla Lowe of South Bend, Robert Lowe of Dowagiac, Jessica Gajewski of Dowagiac, Dallas Williamson of Elkhart; and two great-nephews-Chase & Elijah Frazier.  She was preceded in death by her parents-Dallas & Marilyn Hunt.
