Joshua “Josh” P. Willis, 20, passed away, Sunday, July 16

Joshua “Josh” P. Willis, 20, of St. Joseph went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.

Celebration of Josh’s Life will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, July 21, 2017 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2673 W. John Beers Rd. Stevensville with Rev. Jonathon Kruschel & Rev. Brett Ehlke officiating. Friends may visit from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Ministry Fund, Blossomland Learning Center in Berrien Springs or Bronson Children’s Hospital. Josh was born June 13, 1997 in New Ulm, MN to Ryan & Stephanie (Barth) Willis. He attended Blossomland Learning Center in Berrien Springs. Josh enjoyed many activities including playing catch with family and friends and going to the fountains in downtown St. Joseph. He loved tractors, trucks, fireworks and especially had a passion for Blue’s Clues. Anyone who knew Josh will remember his outstanding personality, attitude and strength. Despite his disability he taught many others about perseverance, inner strength and to see and enjoy the simple things in life.

 Josh is survived by his parents Ryan & Stephanie; siblings, Hannah, Matthew, Rebekah, Rachel, Sarah, Aaron and Mary; grandparent’s, Wayne Willis, Susan Willis, Melinda (Wayne) Waffen and Steve (Debbie) Barth; great-grandmother Marcelyn Molge; aunts and uncles, Jenni (Joel), Robin (Jake), Holly, Drew (Brandy), Katie (Cory), Kristy (Chris) and Grace as well as numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Herbert Molge, John & Carol Barth and Les & Marian Morris.
