Keith Clinton Stewart, 43, of Muskegon passed away at his residence Monday, March 2, 2015.

Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, with the Rev. Jon Bendewald officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015, at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Stewart family. Keith was born Nov. 22, 1971, in Watervliet to Russell and Pamela (Bronson) Stewart. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1990. He attended Albion College. Keith worked for the State of Michigan Corrections Department for 15 years. He worked at several locations, Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility being the most recent. Keith was passionate about gardening, flowers and vegetables. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid fan of the Bulls and Lions. Michael Jordan was his all-time favorite player. In his spare time, he enjoyed DJing for school dances and weddings. The time Keith enjoyed most was time spent with his children.

Keith is survived by his parents, Russell and Pamela Stewart of Benton Harbor; four children: Jordan, Jessica, Maddie and Alex of Rockford, Mich.; companion, Jeanelle Ferris of Grand Haven; brothers: Kevin Stewart and companion Dora Veal of Benton Harbor, and Korey (Jessica) of Port Huron; sister, Kelley (Greg) Gothberg of Eau Claire; three nephews: Tyler Stewart, Erick Gothberg and Mason Gothberg; and former wife, Aneka (Schott).
