Lukas Charles Strain, 17, passed away October 8, 2020

Lukas Charles Strain, 17, of Stevensville, went to meet his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, October 8, 2020 in South Bend, Indiana.



A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the First Church of God, 2627 Niles Ave., St. Joseph, with Rev. William Shepard officiating. Friends may visit with the Family from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00 -8:00 P.M. Friday, November 13, also at the Church. Masks & Social Distancing will be required for both visitation & services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Lukas Strain Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o The Lakeshore Excellence Foundation https://www.lefonline.org/donate/ . Lukas was born April 17, 2003 in St. Joseph, to Jeffery & Christine (Timm) Strain. Lukas was currently a Senior at Lakeshore High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society, the Key Club, the Math/Science Club, the Lakeshore Mentoring Program and the Lakeshore Soccer Team. Lukas was also a member of the First Church of God. In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors, sailing, scuba diving & snow skiing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.



Lukas is survived by his parents Jeff & Christine; his brother Nathan Strain of Stevensville; his grandmothers-Joyce Timm of Portage, MI & Wilma Strain of Coloma, and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. Lukas was preceded in death by his grandfathers-Charles Timm & Loyd Strain.
