Music, comedy, and chaos with Recycled Percussion at

The Mendel Center

Vegas comes to The Mendel Center at Lake Michigan College on Saturday, March 16, at 8 pm in a live concert event that combines gritty, jaw-dropping junk rock with an energized stage show of athleticism, humor, and fun when Recycled Percussion performs on the Mainstage.

Technically speaking, Recycled Percussion is a junk rock band performing on recycled instruments. Creatively speaking, Recycled Percussion’s performances are a dynamic mix of high-energy drumming, guitar smashing, and DJ spinning blended into recyclable junk music.

Since Justin Spencer formed Recycled Percussion in 1995, the band has been unstoppable. Its junk rock music became a national phenomenon week after week during their smash hit performances on America’s Got Talent in 2009. In 2010, Recycled Percussion sealed the deal and became headliners in Las Vegas.

The band has gathered world-wide recognition playing over 6,000 shows, including 3,000 on the Las Vegas strip, spanning 15 countries, with guest appearances on Carson Daly, The Today Show, China’s Got Talent, the Latin Grammys, being featured on the cover of USA Today, and being voted National Act of the Year a record breaking six times. Recycled Percussion continues to elevated its energy level, creating new performance elements, and bringing junk rock music to the masses.

Sharon Osborne proclaimed Recycled Percussion as “sexy and dangerous.” Piers Morgan says, “These guys are Vegas!” And MTV calls the show “Entertainment at its highest level.”

Tickets for Recycled Percussion are on sale now starting at $24. They are available online at www.TheMendelCenter.comand through The Mendel Center Box Office at (269) 927-8700, option 1, weekday 10 am to 6 pm. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more, seniors, students and children, active military members, and veterans. For information about group rates, pre-show party options, and other special arrangements, contact the Box Office.

This performance is sponsored by The Boulevard Inn & Bistro and Rock 107 WIRX.
