Richard C. Reynolds, 77,passed away on October 22, 2018

Richard C. Reynolds, 77, of Bridgman, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at his residence.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 1 PM at Graceland Cemetery, 4650 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Richard was born on December 25, 1940 in Hanover, New Hampshire to Clifford Burns & Claire (Benedict) Reynolds. He was adopted and raised by Claire & Maurice Reynolds. He graduated from Young High School in Knoxville, TN. After high school, Richard joined the Air Force Reserve and served our country until he was honorably discharged in 1966. On August 25, 1962, Richard married the love of his life, Lillian Leonard, in Knoxville. For 37 years, he worked for and retired from Whirlpool Corporation as a machinist. Richard enjoyed taking advantage of the beautiful outdoors whenever he could by hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, camping and golfing. He also liked to play various card games and video games with his family.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lillian; son, John Reynolds of Bridgman; daughter, Kim (Mark) Boswell of Berrien Springs; grandson, Aaron Reynolds of Berrien Springs; brother, James (Lou) Reynolds of Knoxville, TN; sister, Marilyn Tobin of Vermont; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
