Ryan Adam Mensinger, 35, passed away June 24, 2019

Ryan Adam Mensinger, 35, of Stevensville, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at his home.



A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Tom Bird officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 A.M. until Noon Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Ryan’s name may be made to The Salvation Army or The American Diabetes Association. Ryan was born July 2, 1983 in Berrien Springs to Donald & Pamela (Hocutt) Mensinger. He graduated from Bridgman High School, Class of 2002. Ryan was an artistic young man who enjoyed art in several different forms from abstract to graffiti. He also enjoyed music, in-line skating & skateboarding. Ryan was a gentle person with a great sense of humor and a fantastic memory. Even with his years of health struggles, Ryan kept a positive attitude and his faith in the Lord, and was an inspiration to his family and friends.



Ryan is survived by his parents-Don Mensinger of Stevensville & Pam Mensinger of Fredricksted, St. Croix, US Virgin Islands; his siblings-Angela (Rich) Valha of Baroda, Mallory (significant other Jake Kauffman) Mensinger of Stevensville, Landon (Samantha) Mensinger of Cabot, PA, Brielle Mensinger & Jarred Mensinger, both of Stevensville; nieces & nephews-Lola & Shay Valha & Piper & Zeppelin Mensinger; his grandfather Robert Dunning of Bridgman; and best friends-John Sutton of Three Oaks and Lee Rosenhagen of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents-Cathleen & Melburn Hocutt, Richard Mensinger & Betty Dunning.
