St. Joseph Junior Foundation Announces New Executive Director

Saint Joseph, Michigan - The St. Joseph Junior Foundation welcomes new Executive Director, Jeff Fratzke and announces its 2019 sailing programs

Jeff brings to his new role nine years of substitute teaching in St. Joseph and a 25-year career as

a real estate broker. He resides in St. Joseph with his wife Kris, with whom he has four grown

children. Jeff has always been a mentor to youth in our community through coaching sports and

his presence in the classroom. Most of the staff and students will already know Mr. Fratzke as a

coach or teacher. The organization looks forward to the sailing program thriving under his leadership for the years to come.

The St. Joseph Junior Foundation (SJJF) kicks off  its 2019 sailing program on June 10th but there

is still time to register for classes that run throughout the summer. The program offers youth

sailing lessons for beginners to advanced sailors ages 8-18.  Classes are offered in the mornings

with a one week format or in the afternoons with a three week format. SJJF also offers adult

sailing classes on Tuesday & Thursday evenings.  For more information about SJJF sailing classes

visit, or call 269-983-5441.

The St. Joseph Junior Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that spreads its

mission to teach water safety and sailing skills to children and adults.  The SJJF building is

located at the mouth of West Basin Marina next to the St. Joseph River Yacht Club. All classes

are open to the general public and the class fees are kept low through the generous donations

of individuals and corporations throughout Berrien County, Michigan.
