Thelma Lucille Ryno, 90, passed away on December 3, 2018

Thelma Lucille Ryno, 90, of St. Joseph, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018, at her home.

A celebration of life service will take place at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018, at Grace Lutheran Church, 404 Glenlord Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Joshua Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12-1 p.m also at the church. Thelma was born on August 8, 1928, to Wendell and Marie Wood in Benton Harbor. She married Erwin Ryno. Thelma loved her home in Baldwin where she spent many years. She cherished all of her friends there and was proud to be a member of Evergreen Covenant Church. Thelma was also a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church in St. Joseph and the VFW in Baldwin. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved cats, especially her cat, “Bingo”. Most of all, Thelma cherished her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Thelma is survived by her daughters, Vicki Kesterke of St. Joseph and Sandra (Edward) Conradi of West Chicago, IL; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ryno of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Jason Ryno, Jennifer Pratt, Cindy (Tony) Hadley and Jimmy (Evita) Kesterke and great-grandchildren, Kayla Pratt, Anton Martin, Travis Pratt and Sydney Hadley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Marie Wood; husband, Erwin Ryno; sons, Rickey and Kenneth Ryno and brothers, Chuck Lindt and Wendell Wood.
