An Act of the Imagination, October 26 - November 11, 2018, by Bernard Slade. Director: Carol Sizer. This masterful suspense tale involves a successful mystery writer whose latest work has strangely turned into a romance, a vivid and adulterous romance. His son, his second wife, and his editor marvel at the truthfulness of the work, remarkable since it is inconceivable that he could ever have had such an affair. Enter a woman, who is intent on blackmail and whose story is foolproof and airtight. It appears that Arthur has been trysting away from home. Death stalks: the other woman disappears and evidence incriminates Arthur in her murder. There is cunning, deceit and ingenious plotting. A sophisticated whodunit! Show sponsor, Timothy’s Restaurant.

Scrooge! (abbreviated version), December 7 - 16, 2018, book, music & lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Director: Sarah Simmons. Enjoy the season with the beloved holiday classic story of redemption and reflection that will be sure to leave you with a strong dose of the holiday spirit! This stage adaptation of the classic 1970 film starring Albert Finney is perfect for groups and families. Show sponsors, Lake Michigan Chiropractic and Thrivant Financial.

A young couple, Bill and Susan, meet and have a whirlwind romance. After a brief period of dating they impulsively decide to marry. To ease the shock on the families they tell their parents that they are engaged. As they travel to Bill’s house so that the families can meet, they discover they aren’t the only ones with a secret….marital separation, financial trouble, Irish revolutionaries, lounge singers, the Phantom of the Opera, Uncle Joey, and lots more. In the end love triumphs over all. Or does it? Show sponsor, Trilogy Counseling.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, March 29 - April 14, 2019, by Simon Stephens, based on the novel by Mark Haddon. Director: Paige Smillie. Winner of 5 Tony Awards, 6 Drama Desk Awards, 5 Outer Critics Circle Awards, 7 Laurence Olivier Awards, and a Drama League Award! Based on the bestseller of the same name, “Curious Incident” is about a suburban 15-year-old boy, except Christopher is not your typical teenager. Amateur detective Christopher is under suspicion for the mysterious death of his neighbor’s dog, Wellington. He records each fact in a book he is writing as he attempts to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. He has an extraordinary brain and is exceptional at math, but he is ill equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road; he detests being touched and distrusts strangers. But Christopher's detective work takes him on a frightening adventure that turns his world upside-down.

The Addams Family, June 7 – 30, 2019, book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on characters created by Charles Addams. Directors: Marty Golob & Wendy Golob. Winner of a Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, a Drama League Award, and a Jeff Award! The Addams Family features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. If that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he has never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will be different after the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.
