The Twin City Players Presents
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Show Opens June 8 and runs through July 1, 2018

The Twin City Players (TCP) announces its final production of its 2017-2018 Mainstage Season, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman.

Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards. An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. The musical comedy features a fast-paced, wildly funny and touching book and a truly fresh and vibrant score.

Tickets are $15 plus a $1 processing fee per ticket. Group rates are also available. All seats reserved. Purchase tickets online at twincityplayers.org or through the TCP box office at 269-429-0400.
