Bud was born on May 6, 1938 in Lansing, MI to Hervy and Ardis (Page) Schultz. He graduated from Coloma High School in 1956, considering it a great era to be a teenager.  He married Charlotte Goody on August 7, 1959 and she preceded him in death on December 15, 2011. Bud proudly served in the United States Army as a Paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division. He worked for many years in the mobile/modular home industry and was also a Charter Captain on Lake Michigan. Bud enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Bud founded “Rock & Roll Dancing for Seniors” at Hidden Pointe in 2013, at which time he became reacquainted with Janet Nahikian whom he had first met over 69 years ago at Pier School (a little one-room schoolhouse). The dance floor became a special place for them and led to their marriage in October 2014.

Bud is survived by his wife, Janet Nahikian; mother, Ardis Schultz; son, Rick (Chris) Schultz of Pickerington, OH; and grandson, Travis Schultz of Watervliet. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte; father, Hervy; and son, Karl.
