Patricia “Pat” Rybarczyk

Patricia “Pat” Rybarczyk, 84 of St. Joseph, passed away, Tuesday, June 07, 2016 at her home.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Fr. Michael Rejent officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice at Home.  Those wishing to sign Pat’s Memory Book online may do so at   

Pat was born May 11, 1932 in Memphis Tennessee to Martin & Catherine (Collins) Wenzler, Sr. She graduated from Memphis Catholic High School, Class of 1950.  On June 25, 1955, she married Jack J. Rybarczyk in Memphis.  After moving to Southwest Michigan, Pat held several jobs, most recently as a clerk for the Berrien County Prosecutor’s office, retiring in 2011 after thirteen years.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church & Stevensville American Legion Auxiliary Post 568.  Pat was known for her witty sense of humor.  In her free time, she enjoyed the time spent with her friends & family, especially her grand & great-grandchildren.   

Pat is survived by four daughters-Donna (Tim) Case, Debbie (Tom) Pearson, Cathy Berry & Jackie (Jon) Ruppel-all of St. Joseph; five grandchildren-Jessica (Jason) Flowers of Midland, MI, Joni Case of Lewisville, TX, Nicole (Dustin) VanHarn of Stevensville, Kali Ruppel of Niles, Tricia Pearson of St. Joseph; four great-grandchildren-Jaxon, Mason, Cannon, Kayla and a great-grandson expected soon; her sister Kathleen (Pat) Magner of Treasure Island, FL; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack in 1984, and two siblings-Rosemary O’Neill & Martin “Buddy” Wenzler, Jr.
