Betty Jean Davis, 90, passed away April 30,2020

Betty Jean Davis, 90, of Coloma, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Thursday, April 30,2020 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Stevensville.

Due to current circumstances private family services will be held at Duffield and Pastrick Funeral Home in Coloma followed by burial in Coloma Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Church Of God in St. Joseph.

Betty was born in Lansing, Michigan on April 13, 1930, the daughter of William and Margaret Drew. She had just recently celebrated her 90th birthday. On the first day following her high school graduation, she joined the Black Ace Motorcycle Group of Benton Harbor. Several years later in 1951she married Robert Davis. Together they raised their three sons and enjoyed 41 years of marriage before Robert's passing in 1992. Her love for motorcycle riding continued with her husband.

Betty loved the outdoors and enjoyed riding her bike, swimming, and fishing. She found happiness spending time with children and loved to play wiffle ball with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking and canning and her favorite flowers were lilacs. She enjoyed people and could strike up a conversation with anyone. For a number of years Betty was a caregiver for the elderly.

Betty is survived by three sons: Roy (Diana) Davis of Coloma, William (Jody) Davis of Watervliet, and Randy Davis of Osceola, Ind.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and her sister Louise Lesch.
