Dan L. Pastrick, 68, of St. Joseph passed away suddenly and unexpected on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his home.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Those wishing to leave a message or share a memory online may do so by using the "guestbook" link located on this page. Dan was born October 4, 1951 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He was the middle of three children of Al and Virginia Pastrick. Dan graduated St. Joseph High School in 1969 and then earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University in 1973. During his career, Dan held various positions in the medical device field which included supervision, manufacturing, engineering and senior operations management. In 2015 he opened Dan Pastrick & Associates, where he was the owner and Principle consultant.  He always started his day with an optimistic attitude. He was an amazing father and brother who was always willing to lend a hand. On many occasions he delivered boxes of dresses sewn by his sister Vickie to the Little Dresses for Africa program. In his free time, he attempted to keep his little brother focused and in line. He was a charitable giver in life who often did nice things for others quietly, never seeking accolades for himself. He will be truly missed.

Dan is survived by his daughter Alicia (Pastrick) Hunter of Casselberry, Fla.; his son Aaron (Kate) Pastrick and his grandson Wiley, all of Zumbrota, MN; his sister Vickie Pastrick Florin of Stevensville; his brother Michael Pastrick of St. Joseph; nieces Hillary Florin of Stevensville, Blair Florin of Kalamazoo, Michelle Pastrick of Grand Rapids; and his nephew Nathan Pastrick of Kalamazoo, along with many cousins.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
