Anna Pesko Obituary

Anna Pesko, age 102, passed away on Sunday, November 24. 2024. She was born on February 11, 1922, to Henry and Katherine (Reck) Batke in Yellow Pine, Alabama.

A funeral service for Anna will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church (613 Court St. Saint Joseph, Michigan 49085.) with Pastor Michael Roth officiating. Visitation with Anna’s family will take place one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will take place following the service at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma, Michigan. Anna was a loving person who cared deeply for her family. She loved music, sewing, and to fish with the family. On January 24th, 1942, she married the love of her life, Alex Pesko and together they spent 55 years together until his passing in May of 1997. Her faith was important to her, and she was an active member of Trinity Lutheran church in Saint Joseph.

Anna is survived by her daughters; Linda (Steve) Dockham, Karen Walder; grandchildren, Scott (Lesli), Jennifer (Ben), Meghan (Tom), Traci (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Garrett (Megan), Gavin, C.J. (Chelsea), Tyler, Tony (Kendal), Kylee, Quinten, Andrew; great-great-grandchildren, Asa, Barrett, Henry, Amelia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alex Pesko; daughters, Beverly Pesko, Janice Bicknell, grandsons, Jeffrey, Benjamin; and siblings, Katherine, Mary, Selma, Anna, Ruth, Bill, Henry, and Ed.
