Aureum: An Aerial & Acrobatic Adventure Tale performance canceled

Aureum: An Acrobatic and Adventure Tale, scheduled for Saturday, October 16, has canceled their performance at The Mendel Center due to an unexpected itinerary change affecting their touring schedule.

Aureum ticket holders may exchange their tickets for one of five Discovery Series events scheduled for the remainder of the 2021-22 Mendel Center season. Those events are:

  • Nov. 22, 7 pm - National Geographic Live: Filipe DeAndrade – Untamed
  • Jan. 11, 7 pm - National Geographic Live: Steve Winter – On the Trail of Big Cats
  • Feb. 4, 7 pm - The Russian National Ballet Theatre presents Swan Lake
  • Feb. 19, 8 pm - Cirque Mechanics: Birdhouse Factory
  • Mar. 24, 7 pm - National Geographic Live: Kara Cooney – When Women Ruled the World

Ticket exchanges will be made for the same seating zone as the purchased Aureum tickets. If the value of the new tickets is more than was paid for the Aureum tickets, The Mendel Center will waive the difference. If the value of the new tickets is less than was paid for the Aureum tickets, the difference may be refunded, credited, or donated back to The Mendel Center, based on the ticket holder’s preference.

Ticket holders may also request a full refund or credit by contacting The Mendel Center Box Office.

Additionally, The Mendel Center has arranged with the production to make available a high-quality recording of the full performance viewable on demand for an extended period of time. Ticket holders will be provided with an online link to this performance.

Information has been sent directly to ticket holders regarding this change. Anyone with questions can contact The Mendel Center Box Office at 269-927-8700, option 1, weekdays from 2 - 6 PM, and by email at
