The Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff has been part of St. Joseph’s history since 1962 when a handful of local artists shared their artwork in Lake Bluff Park. The event even pre-dates Krasl Art Center (KAC), which opened its doors in July of 1980. The summer of 2022 welcomes the 60th Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff presented by 1st Source Bank Wealth Advisory Services, with 172 artists from across the country gathering in Lake Bluff Park the second weekend in July.



The 2022 Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff is pleased to announce that following the February jury, the 2022 event will take place on Saturday, July 9, 10 am – 6 pm and Sunday, July 10, 10 am – 5 pm. Presenting artists are announced online now at https://krasl.org/art-fair/2022-featured-artists/


The event draws talent from across the nationincluding Texas, Florida, California, Virginia, and of course, Michigan. Artists apply for the show in October and await their status for the nationally-ranked Art Fair until March. The invitations are then sent and the travel plans to St. Joseph and Benton Harbor begin!


Guests should note that for the safety of animals and the artwork,no pets are allowed in the gated areas of Lake Bluff Park Saturday and Sunday. Only service animals are allowed in the event. 


All proceeds from the $5 ticketed admission support free KAC exhibitions year-round. 


Daily admissionfor Saturday and Sunday is as follows:

  • Guests ages 11+: $5
  • Children age 3 – 10: $3
  • Children under 3 receive complimentary admission; a ticket is required.
  • General admission tickets are good for one day of the event, and same-day re-entry is accepted. 
  • Day-of tickets: Walk-up cash only (QR codes will be provided for credit card sales)

Collectors Experience Packagesstart at $65 for KAC members ($135 for non-KAC members) and include a variety of benefits. When wearing a commemorative pin, receive:

  • Free Admission to the Friday night Block Party on Friday, July 8
  • *Saturday exclusive Collector-only shopping from 9 – 10 am
  • A buffet breakfast with the artists at Schu’s on Saturday, June 9, 7 – 10 am
  • Bypass check-in and head straight to entrances by the red umbrellas
  • Unlimited access, weekend-long passes (with your collector pins)
  • Access to the VIP Collectors Experience Lounge located on KAC’s grounds. 


Package purchasers also enjoy one (1) Parking Pass (limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis).


Tickets are available for the Art Fairat https://krasl.org/art-fair/tickets/. This is a rain-or-shine event and no refunds will be given on account of the weather, but tickets are valid for either day.


There will be four (4) entrances to the fair this year.Look for the red umbrellas along Lake Boulevard at Park, Market, Broad, and Ship Streets. Public restrooms will be available near the Market, Park, and Broad street entrances. Additional restrooms are available in the staircase at Broad Street.


Along Broad St., guests will find the St. Joe Farmers Market during fair hours. Located outside of the gated Art Fair, guests will experience locally-grown and homemade treats during their visit. Beverages will be available for purchase, and downtown restaurants will be open to welcome visitors.

Your go-to resource for navigating the Art Fair - The Guidebook- will be printed in the July fourth (4) edition of MailMax, and copies will be available on-site during the event. The guidebook contains a map of the event and images of all participating artists, in addition to more arts-related resources throughout Berrien County during the art-filled weekend.
