Jeannine F. Ratter December 4, 1938 - December 14, 2022

Jeannine F. (Soulard) Ratter, 84 of Coloma and Watervliet passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon to 1:00 P.M. at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma followed by a graveside service in Coloma Cemetery. Jeannine was born December 4, 1938 in Coloma to Edward and Goldie (Warman) Soulard.  She graduated from Coloma High School in 1957, then worked at Michigan Bell Telephone Company in Benton Harbor and Kalamazoo until 1992.  She then moved back to Coloma to care for her parents. Jeannine was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and Women of the Moose.  In her free time, she was an avid reader who never met a newspaper she didn’t like.

Survivors include her brother Edward (Phyllis) Soulard, niece Sherri and Tim Richards of Benton Harbor, nephew Sean and Holly Soulard of Baroda, along with several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Jeannine was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Soulard.
