Margaret Eichwedel Dickinson February 22, 1937 - February 25, 2023

Margaret Eichwedel Dickinson, 86, formerly of Coloma, passed away on February 25, 2023 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

Margaret was born on February 22, 1937 in Aldershot, England. She was orphaned at age 15 after losing both parents during the war. She came to the United States in 19__. Prior to her retirement in 1986, she had been employed as a housekeeper at South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill. She moved to Coloma that same year. Margaret was an avid gardener. She also loved to cook and entertain guests in her home. She was a pet lover with a fondness for dogs, she loved being around children and also helped care for the elderly.

Margaret is survived by her son, Paul Eichwedel of Chicago; her daughter Cheryl Schultz of Coloma, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Norman Eichwedel and her second husband, George Dickinson.
