Nancy Jane Schroeder April 15th, 1924 - March 12th, 2023

Nancy J. Schroeder (Sexton) of St. Joseph passed away peacefully in her sleep at Pine Ridge Nursing Home on Sunday morning, March 12, 2023. She was 98 years old. Nancy was a long time elementary school teacher in the area and retired from St. Joseph Public Schools in 1985. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest V. Schroeder, in 2003, and is survived by two sons, Jeffrey L. (Linda K.) of Ann Arbor and Timothy W. of St. Joseph. Nancy will be cremated and a private family service will occur at a later date. If desired, memorials can be made to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan.
