ST. JOSEPH TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT - FATAL ACCIDENT 11/13/22
On November 13th, 2022 at approximately 6:42pm, St. Joseph Township Police were dispatched to Niles Road and Royalton Heights for a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was struck while in the south bound travel lane of Niles Road. The pedestrian was wearing dark colored clothing at the time of the accident. Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that the pedestrian victim was deceased. The deceased was transported to W-Med for autopsy.
The names of the driver and the victim are being withheld at this time. The investigation is continuing.
The St. Joseph Township Police were assisted by the St. Joseph Township Fire Department, Medic one and the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
