Twin City Players Presents Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley December 2 – 18, 2022

Twin City Players announces the holiday production of its 2022-2023 90th Mainstage Season of Comedy, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon.

Spend the holiday season with your favorite Pride and Prejudice characters as they gather at Pemberley, the stately home of Mr. and Mrs. Darcy. This clever sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is set two years after the novel ends. The beloved Bennet sisters and their spouses are gathered for Christmas when bookish middle sister Mary unexpectedly encounters shy Arthur de Bourgh. In him, she finds a kindred spirit and intellectual equal. But, since Arthur is a “single man in possession of a good fortune,” she’s hardly his only suitor. Mary must learn to be the heroine of her own story in this charming holiday romance. Told with exceptional modern wit and dazzling period style, this romantic comedy will delight Austen aficionados and newcomers alike.
