Twin City Players Presents: The Psychic October 21 – November 6, 2022

Twin City Players announces the next production of its 2022-2023 90th Mainstage Season of Comedy, The Psychic by Sam Bobrick.

Winner of Best Play at the 2011 Mystery Writers of America Edgar Allen Poe Awards, The Psychic follows the chaotic life of Adam Webster, a down-on-his-luck writer, who puts a “Psychic Readings” sign in his apartment window, in a desperate attempt to make the rent. The sign soon draws the interest of the lovely and conflicted Laura, her shady husband, Roy, Roy's mistress, a gangster named Johnny Bubbles, and ace Detective Norris Coslow. In the surprising twists that follow, Adam is entangled in a hilarious murder mystery that you won't want to miss!

Tickets are $10-$15 (plus a $1 fee per ticket). Tickets and Flex Passes are available online at or through the TCP box office at 269-429-0400. Performance dates are October 21 - November 6, 2022, Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm, at the TCP Playhouse, 600 W. Glenlord Road, St. Joseph. Masks are required. The Psychic is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.

The show is directed by Renee Wright who is assisted by Assistant Director Jodie Wilson, Tech Director Tabitha Nelson, Stage Manager Caitlin Sampsell, Costumer Tamela Green, Set Designer John Taylor, Properties Rachel Thursby, Hair/Makeup Beth Ward, Set Painter Cindy Jakeway, Set Builders Aaron Rennhack and Braeden Wilson, and Prompter Cassi File.
