Virginia was born March 27, 1948 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Raymond and Ada (Steinke) Nimtz. Ginny started her career bartending at Chief's Bar in Millburg where she made a lot of long lasting friends with her cheerful smile and sunny disposition. She was a Life Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and also bartended at the VFW and volunteered to help for many of their dinners. She was extremely proud, both of her sons are Marines. Her friendliness and outgoing nature was what made her memorable as she wrapped up her employment career at Wal-Mart. She loved the outdoors and spent many years helping on the farm and processing meat with her first husband, Allen Marquardt, and had many fun times with her longtime friend, Debbie Toffelmire. Ginny looked forward to her yearly trip to Las Vegas with her close friend Sylvia Aldrich. She loved fishing and her favorite pastime was watching the squirrels and the birds playing outside her windows. She especially loved hummingbirds as they reminded her of little fairies. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. She will be missed by many.

Virginia is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey (Dianna) Marquardt of Millburg and David (Jessica) Marquardt of Milton, Florida; three grandchildren, Jesse Marquardt of Millburg, Jeremy Marquardt of California and Allen Marquardt of Indianapolis, Ind.; and a special niece Rhonda Nimtz of Marco Island, Fla.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Rogalski in 2004.
