Willard was born February 20, 1930 in Hayti, Missouri to Claude and Edith Quertermous. Years later he met the love of his life, Myrtle Daniel, and the couple was married on Feb. 12, 1951. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary earlier this year. Willard was a family man and enjoyed spending his time with Myrtle, his two daughters and grandchildren. Willard worked at Whirlpool Corporation for many years and retired in 1995. He wasn’t one to sit still, so he soon went back to work doing outdoor yard work and lawn mowing.  Being a lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing his own yard work at the family home.

Willard is survived by his wife Myrtle; two daughters: Sheila (Keith) Craig of Coloma and Sharon (Jim) Aldrich of Watervliet; his sister Christine (Cricket) Wells of Benton Harbor; four grandchildren: Rhonda (William) Mannino, Keith Craig, Melissa (Raymond) Prichette and Mark (Trisha) Aldrich; nine great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
