Darlene J. Adams Obituary

Darlene J. Adams, 92 of Coloma, passed away on Monday, September 1 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 5 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Darlene’s memory may be made to Susan G. Komen For The Cure.

Darlene was born December 24, 1932 in Benton Harbor to Charles and Emma (Clark) Smith, Sr. She owned Coloma Bar and Grill for 10 years and was part of Watervliet Hospital Auxiliary.

Darlene is survived by her children Larry (Leanne) Adams of Coloma, Betty (Dennis) Stampohar of Baroda and Linda (Delbert) Tabbert of Lake Placid, Fla.; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William in 2006, her son Terry Adams and seven siblings.
