Margaret worked at a manufacturing plant as a line worker and also served as a caretaker, but her greatest and most cherished role was as a homemaker, devoted to caring for her family and home.

In her younger years, Margaret loved taking her sons fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to the Mall of America and Gurnee Mills Mall, and she had a special fondness for browsing local garage sales in search of hidden treasures. A loyal Green Bay Packers fan, she loved cheering them on and sporting their green and yellow colors.

Margaret was a proud member of Blue Roof Church, where her faith gave her strength and joy. Above all, her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. On October 25, 2003, Margaret married Scott Harden at Yore Community Church in Benton Harbor; together the two merged their families into one loving family.

She will be remembered for her devotion, her love of life’s simple pleasures, and the deep care she gave to all who knew her.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Scott Harden; children, Gerald Miller, Anthony Rodgers, Chelsea (Coby) West and Lacey Harden; grandchildren, Anthony, Johnny, Skylar, Kiara, Natasha, Brianna, Mia, Joseph, Kyra, Jaxson, Amelia, Paul, Timothy, Trinity, Jordon, and many additional grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Malcom, Dallas, Rylo, Naomi, and JJ; and siblings, Gene Rodgers, Jack (Karen) Rodger, Johnny Rodgers, Craig (Luann) Harden, and Doug Wood. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy & Wilda; daughter, Jeanette Finehout; grandson, Joseph Harden; and three brothers and two sisters.
