Roman S. Grabowski, Jr., 82, passed away Nov 17, 2020

Roman S. Grabowski, Jr., 82, of Coloma, passed away on November 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23 at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon. Cremation will be taking place following the service.  A memorial reception will be held at a later date once COVID restrictions are lifted. Roman was born February 5, 1938 in Lawrence to Roman Sr. and Anna (Faraone) Grabowski.   He was employed by Hull Lift Truck for 10 years, Consumers Asphalt for 15 years and Reith Riley, where he retired from in 2009. Roman loved cars and was an extremely talented mechanic, always looking for the next vehicle to purchase. He loved teasing the ones he loved and driving his wife Cathy crazy! His love for his family and friends showed in his smile, wink and twinkle of his eyes. He had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping others.

Roman is survived by his wife Catherine (Sells) whom he married February 12, 1977, his daughter Elizabeth (Greg) Harper of Stevensville, his brothers Richard, Charles and John Grabowski and sister Dorothy Schiffbauer and four grandchildren Bradyn, Scarlett, Victoria and Roman Harper. Also surviving are special friends, the Jollay, Thieneman, Zuniga, Kinney and Sells families and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Elaine Grabowski and MaryAnn Rudel and brothers Joseph and Frank Grabowski.
