Serious injury vehicle collision- Bainbridge TWP

DATE AND TIME OF INCIDENT : 03/27/2021 at 2029 hours   


TYPE OF INCIDENT : Serious injury vehicle collision                     


LOCATION OF INCIDENT : Meadowbrook near Park Rd Bainbridge Twp

                                              Berrien County Michigan                                


AGENCIES INVOLVED: Berrien County Sheriff Office

                                        Michigan State Police

                                        Coloma Township Police

                                        Pride Care Ambulance   





NARRATIVE: On 03/27/21 at 2029 hours Deputies from the Berrien County Sheriff Office responded to the call for a possible injury rollover Collision with the vehicle a white Four door car coming to rest off of the roadway in a swamp.



Upon arrival Deputies located a 2002 Pontiac off of the roadway on Meadowbrook up right in a swamp area.

It appeared that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Meadowbrook Rd lost control and went off of the roadway having collision with deep mud and small trees partly rolling over.

The vehicle was driven by 29 year old Joshua Miller out of the Watervliet area.

Seat belt was not worn during this collision and speed does appear to be a factor.

Miller was transported to Lakeland Spectrum Hospital in St Joseph for serious possible life threatening injury.

The Berrien County Sheriff Office was assisted on scene by Michigan State Police, Coloma Twp Police, and Pride Care ambulance

It is unknown at this time if drugs of alcohol were a factor.

This collision remains under investigation.
