Two Pianos. Two Players. Unbelievable fun.

Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra hosts “Dueling Pianos” fundraiser

Mendel Center’s Grand Upton Hall,

1100 Yore Ave., Benton Harbor.

Friday, February 11, 2022, at 7 pm

The Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra is bringing back the ever popular Dueling Pianos fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022. It’s a perfect opportunity to plan the start of your valentine weekend.

The evening’s entertainment will showcase two talented musicians who play musical favorites battling on two grand pianos. As they utilize their comedic and musical talents you can request a song, sing along, dance on stage or tap your foot and clap along. As a fundraiser, monetary donations are included with each musical request to the pianists and those tips then benefit the SMSO. If you want to hear a specific song, wonderful! But don’t be surprised if someone tips the pianist more money to have him stop playing it - it’s all part of the fun!

Their musical repertoire includes classic rock, country, hard rock, show tunes, R & B and Top 40. During this evening of fun, fast, and funny entertainment, audience participation is highly encouraged and received.

Dueling Pianos begins at 7 pm with an optional buffet dinner beginning at 5:30 pm and cocktails at 6:30 pm. There is also a cash bar. Tickets are $35 per person for the Dueling Pianos show or $60 per person for the buffet dinner with the show. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the SMSO office at 513 Ship St., St. Joseph, calling 269-982-4030 or online at
