  • Deceased Person: Emily Rudman, 39 year old female from Royalton Township         

 

  • Arrested Persons: None

 

 

     

     

Narrative:

On 5/7/2022 at 2236 deputies responded to a car vs pedestrian accident in the 4300 block of M-139 in Royalton Twp.  Deputies, Officers, and Medic 1 performed first aid to the pedestrian and she was transported to Spectrum Health Lakeland St. Joseph where she was pronounced deceased.  The pedestrian was in a wheel chair and was attempting to cross M-139.  The pedestrian was nearly hit by a car going north bound, then stuck by a vehicle going south bound, and the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.   An autopsy will performed by WMed in Kalamazoo.   The accident remains under investigation.
