Lester K. Frazier

Lester K. Frazier, 66, of Coloma, passed away Tuesday evening, April 1, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral services with Military Rites will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Visitation will be held from 3 - 6 p.m. Sunday. Cremation will follow the service and burial of ashes will take place at Fort. Custer Cemetery in Battle Creek at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the donor's choice.

Les was born on Sept. 5, 1947 in Church Hill, Tennessee to James and Beatrice (Vaughn) Frazier; one of six children. In July of 1966 he and Joann Morlock were married. That fall he joined the United States Army and served his country for two years during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement in 2008, Les was employed as a warehouse supervisor at Lane Automotive. In his spare time, he loved to fish, camp and travel the country. He was also a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His biggest joy though was spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Les is survived by his wife Joann; son Don (Jessica) Frazier of St. Joseph; daughter Victoria Haynes of Coloma; brothers James (Ellen) Frazier of Purcellville, Virginia and Kenny (Connie) Frazier of Sykesville, Maryland; sisters Phyllis Jeffries of Berryville, Virginia and Mary Hobbs of Baileyton, Tennessee; and six grandchildren, Dakota, Mandan, Maison, Braden, Corbin and Alyssa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jeff in 2008.
