Shelia G. Poe Obituary

Shelia G. Poe, 82, of Benton Harbor, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St Joseph.

Shelia was born February 6, 1943 in Benton Harbor to Murl and Olga (McNees) Phillips.  She retired in 2009 as office manager from the Benton Harbor Fruit Market after 31 years of service.  In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, hunting, fishing, baking, and watching her Hallmark movies.  Shelia truly loved just spending time with her kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and family members.

Shelia is survived by her son Jimmie (Dawn) Corzine of Bloomfield, MO; daughters Dieanna (Charles) Chronister of Coloma, and Theresa (Rodger) Lamoreaux of Decatur, MI; two sisters, Karen (George) Rathgeb of Eau Claire, and Virgie Sutherland of Coloma.  Also surviving are six grandchildren; Jennifer (Eric) Pennebaker, Tiffany (Cory) Moore, Jeremy (Miranda) Corzine, Jessica Corzine, Chad (Angie) Kirkwood, and Cory Broadhurst, 14 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Shelia was preceded in death by her husband Edgar in 2013 and her brother Harold Phillips.
