The Twin City Players Presents Dial M for Murder

Show Opens February 24 and runs through March 19, 2017

St. Joseph, MI – January 26, 2017 – The Twin City Players (TCP) announces its next production of the 2016-2017 season, the exciting melodrama, Dial M for Murder by Frederick Knott, directed by Kevin Wurz.

Tony Wendice lives in London where he married his wife Margot for her money and now plans to murder her for the same reason. After learning of her affair with an American writer, he arranges the perfect murder. He blackmails a scoundrel into strangling her for a fee of one thousand pounds, and arranges a brilliant alibi for himself. Unfortunately... there is no perfect crime, and things do not work as planned when the lead police investigator sees the crime scene from a different angle.

The cast of Dial M for Murder includes Christine Aranyos as Margot Wendice, David Prouty as Max Halliday, Steve Prouty as Tony Wendice, Jacob Holmes as Captain Lesgate, Alex Kerr as Inspector Hubbard and Chase Samuelson as Thompson. 

Assisting Wurz are Assistant Director/Stage Manager Chase Samuleson, Technical Director Scott Bradford, Technical/Sound Operator Sean Hagan, Costumer Sarah Nadolski, Assistant Stage Manager Connie Weaver, Stage Crew Members Aaron Rennhack and Stan Sabal, Lighting Technicians Ian Bradford and Natalie Smiy.

Performance dates are February 24, 25 and 26, and March 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18 and 19, 2017. Technical equipment for this production is provided by TPC Technologies,INC. DIAL M FOR MURDER is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.

Tickets will be $15 for adults and $12 for seniors. Group rates are also available. All seats are reserved. Reservations can be made by calling the TCP box office at 269-429-0400. TCP is also offering online ticket purchases at twincityplayers.org. Performance times are 8 PM for Friday and Saturday evening performances. Sunday performances will be held at 2 PM. All performances take place at the Twin City Players Playhouse located at 600 West Glenlord Road in St. Joseph.
Opening Night Afterglow Reception
On opening night, join cast and crew after the show for an Afterglow reception featuring refreshments generously provided by Afterglow partners, Lemon Creek Winery and Bit of Swiss Pastry Shoppe.
