Under the Harvest Moon Festival Returns to Downtown Dowagiac October 11
Michigan’s colorful autumn will take center stage in downtown Dowagiac during the 14th Annual Under the Harvest Moon Festival on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
“All the best parts of fall will be on full display in downtown Dowagiac,” said Matt Money, Marketing and Event Coordinator for the Dowagiac Chamber of Commerce. “From tractors to pumpkins, and cider to much more—it’s a celebration of the season.”
Throughout the day, downtown retailers will host activities and special in-store promotions, giving festival goers plenty of opportunities to shop local and explore. The festival’s centerpiece is its open-air marketplace, featuring more than 60 vendors offering antiques, artisanal and handcrafted goods, fall produce, and sweet treats. Vendors will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Another fan favorite is the display of both new and vintage farm tractors, which add a unique touch of heritage to the fall celebration. Guests can also enjoy live music by the Kalamazoo-based band Special Guest performing from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Beckwith Park—festival goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and settle in for an afternoon of music.

Children’s activities will also run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., hosted by The Bridge Church, ensuring family-friendly fun for all ages. “This event continues to bring together our community while also attracting visitors from across the region,” Money added.
The Chamber recognizes the generous support of corporate sponsors that make the festival possible, including Central Produce, Rohdy's Heating and Cooling, Anderson Replacement Windows, UHY Accounting Firm, and US Lumber Company.
