ARS Gallery Arts & Culture Center is moving!
ARS Gallery Arts & Culture Center is moving!
This is not farewell - We are extending our reach and strengthening our mission.
ARS IS MOVING TO 15300 RED ARROW HWY SUITE C & D LAKESIDE MI
The gallery, along with some of our classes, workshops and camps will be at the new location, however ARS will continue to work in Benton Harbor with our underserved youth through our artists in residency program, where we go to their locations.
For more than 15 years, ARS Gallery, Arts & Culture Center has served our Benton Harbor community, by offering arts and culture classes, summer camps, and creative programs for underserved youth throughout the region.
We are now expanding into South Berrien County’s Lakeside area to reach a larger demographic in our county. ARS continues our strong commitment to Benton Harbor through our Artist-in-Residence program. Although we will no longer have a physical space in Benton Harbor, our presence remains active as we bring artists, mentorship, and art education directly into local schools and centers.
Your continued support is vital in helping us provide materials, mentorships, and educational opportunities for hundreds of young people who rely on ARS for creative learning, personal growth, and a safe, supportive environment. Many of our students advance to college-level programs, with some earning early credits through the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Ox-Bow.
Thank you to our community for your understanding and for your continued belief in our mission. Together, we can ensure that all youth—regardless of circumstance—have access to the transformative power of the arts.
Regarding the ARS butterfly mural at 147 Fifth St, Benton Harbor: ARS worked with muralist Alex Ann Allen on the mural "Ja'Kobi's Wings", sponsored by ARS Gallery Arts and Culture and Visit Southwest Michigan. This special mural represents the thousands of youth that have passed through the ARS programs.

The Butterfly Effect is the concept that small actions over time can lead to significant personal transformation in areas like career, growth, relationships, and personal development.
The mural remains a strong example of an ongoing transformation of Benton Harbor and will be dedicated to the memory of Dawn Yarbrough Zoppi.
ARS’ new address is 15300 Red Arrow Hwy, Suite C & D, Lakeside, MI 49116 (next to Nestani Antiques, Suite A & B) just North of Hearthwoods Furnishings.
