On Sunday, 02/5/2023, Officers of the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety while patrolling in the area of 384 Marshall, in the City of Benton Harbor to investigate a woman screaming. Upon arrival officers located Denell Newson, a 27-year-old BH resident deceased in a motor vehicle. The screams the officer heard was a family member finding Newson in the vehicle. A dark colored Dodge Charger was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed. There are currently no suspect leads in this matter. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday at WMED in Kalamazoo to determine cause of death....
