Beautiful New Mural for Baroda!

Right in time for the summer tourist season, a local school teacher has joined in on the latest craze in Baroda!

Hilary Burchett is the amazing artist that contributed her beautiful work to our public art initiative in the Village of Baroda! Hilary has been teaching for 12 years as a visual arts teacher for grades PK-12th in the public schools system. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with watercolor emphasis from Western Michigan University in 2005. She has had art showings in Biarritz, France; Graz, Austria, and multiple showings in Kalamazoo, MI. Hilary is currently teaching PK-5th grades visual art at Hollywood Elementary School within the Lakeshore School District. When she is not sharing her knowledge with her students, she spends her time painting in her studio, and raising animals on a small rural farm.

You can find this beautiful piece affixed to the north side of Nye’s Autotech and Tire on the corner of Hills Road and First Street in downtown Baroda! Be sure to look up on your way to the wineries. You don’t want to miss this one!
