Body found in home in Benton Harbor

On 09/03/2017 Officers of the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety responded to a request for assistance in the 1200 Block of Superior. Officers responded and while checking a residence discovered a deceased female inside. The female identified as 36 year old Jeanette Finehout was found deceased in a bedroom in the residence.

Detectives are investigating Finehout’s as suspicious pending the autopsy, more details will be released as the investigations continues.

BHDPS officers were assisted by the Michigan State Police Major Crimes Unit and Berrien County Sheriffs Department.
