Bridgman Open-Air Market Food Drive
Bridgman Open-Air Market Community Give Back
Bridgman Open-Air Market Food Drive
For the last five plus years the Bridgman Community and countless others have been walking through the Bridgman Open-Air Market. They visit on Sundays supporting many local vendors and food trucks. People who are trying to make a living. The Bridgman Open-Air Market noticed all the love and support the community continuously shows to them. They wanted to find ways to give back to the community and support them. The Market started two months of give back to the community. In August they started with their Back-to-School drive where every Sunday they collected school supplies and donated to local teachers of Berrien County. They were able to reach five different teachers.
“I see many familiar and new faces visiting Sunday after Sunday supporting local small businesses who are making their way in this world. Whether this is their livelihood or side business, our community is coming out to support us. It feels great to be able to spread the love and give back to the community.” says Rose Stachowiak of Riverbend Outpost and Market Manager.
The Bridgman Open-Air Market is continuing on with spreading the support and appreciation from the community. September is Food Drive at the Market. Throughout the month there will be several donation boxes at Market every Sunday. The Market will take non-perishable canned food donations such as:
· Canned Soup
· Canned Vegetables
· Dry Boxed Food
· Pancake Mixes
· Maple Syrup
· Single Serve Meals
· Cereal
· Oatmeal
Donations collected each week will be sent to Harbor County Mission. Our goal is to collect and donate as many items as we can to help those that need it. We appreciate any donation to our Food Drive. This event will be held every Sunday in September from 9am-3pm. You will be able to find donation boxes at Bridgman Open-Air Market Board Member Tents. Just look for the lime green board member signs. We look forward to seeing everyone out at the Market!
