Open Notebook: A Writing Circle for Adults

Whether you're crafting poetry, journaling, or writing a memoir, Open Notebook provides a dedicated space to reflect, connect, and simply put words to the page.
Each session includes writing prompts, quiet writing time, and optional sharing. No critique. Registration is encouraged.

Understand Me Better: Trauma as Experienced by Autistics

We'll be viewing the film Trauma as Experienced by Autistics, featuring two autistic psychologists who dive into sensory hurdles, emotional safety, and relational tools.
Afterward, Jacquie Blackwell—a mental health coach with a master’s degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology—will lead a conversation with a panel of three young adults on the spectrum.

The Librarians: Film Screening & Panel Discussion

Join us for a screening of the PBS Independent Lens documentary, The Librarians, directed by Kim A. Snyder.
The film explores how library professionals across the U.S. are navigating unprecedented efforts to restrict collections.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion to examine the broader implications of these challenges for our communities and the First Amendment.
