Artplay for Adults - Linoleum Printmaking

An introductory workshop where participants will design, carve, ink, and print original images using ez-cut linoleum blocks.
Students will learn basic printmaking skills that can be replicated at home without professional equipment.

Mackinac Bridge, Then & Now

Experience the "Mighty Mac" like never before with Kimberly K. Nowack, the first woman to serve as Executive Director of the Mackinac Bridge Authority.
She will give an in-depth presentation on the history of transportation in the Straits of Mackinac and on the construction of the bridge.
In addition to the bridge's heritage, Kim will provide updates on essential maintenance operations and discuss current events affecting this iconic Michigan landmark.
