Author Kristen N. Dobson and Illustrator Sophie N. Dobson will tell us about their book, "Lolly and the 'Tudes", which describes the special bond between grandparents and their grandchildren.

 

They will also demonstrate how a book is created and put together.  This will be a fun family hands-on experience. 

 

No registration required.  For all ages.

 

 

LET'S JAM

Explore making music and creating different sounds with others in an informal, relaxed setting.

 

Perfect for kids at the beginner level, although those with more experience are welcome.

 

Bring an instrument if you have one. The library does have a few instruments available to borrow on a first come, first served basis.

 

For ages 5+.  No registration required.

 

 

ADULT PROGRAMS


 

ARTPLAY FOR ADULTS - OUTDOOR WATERCOLOR PAINTING AT WEKO BEACH

This month we will do an outdoor watercolor painting at Weko Beach.  Please meet at Weko Beach.  

 

If it is raining, we will meet in the Community Room at the library.

 

All materials provided.  No art skill required.  For ages 16+

 

 

BUILDING FOUNDATIONS OF CAREGIVING

Nicole Hourani from the Alzheimer's Association will teach us about a person-centered approach to caregiving, how to reduce caregiver stress and how relationships can change over time throughout the caregiving journey.

COOKING WITH HERBS ~ ON ZOOM

Mary Spencer, Culinary Instructor and Owner of Taste: A Cook's Place, will join us via Zoom and teach us how to cook with herbs.

 

Recipe cards are posted on our website program calendar if you would like a copy before the program.  The two recipes that Mary will make are: Cod with fresh herb sauce and Lentil salad with fresh herbs.
